Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain plans, forecasts, and schedules for material requirements to support operational needs. * Work closely with suppliers and internal plant support teams to ensure activities are clearly defined and executed effectively. * Monitor daily delivery plans to ensure alignment with schedules and promptly highlight any discrepancies. * Create purchase requisitions with consideration of request dates, component availability, capacity constraints, and other resources required to support on‑time delivery. * Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date material master data in SAP (MRP views). * Forecast raw material and component requirements and communicate plans to buyers and suppliers. * Collaborate with Receiving and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure timely release of raw materials, including coordinating and scheduling meetings as required. * Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels and support actions to optimize inventory performance. What Can You Bring to Alcon: * Bachelor’s degree holder. * Strong understanding of material planning. * Good understanding of SAP ERP is preferred. * Excellent communication skills. * Proficiency in English. * Strong data analysis skills. * Strong project and time management abilities. * Effective problem-solving skills.
