Participate in Continuous Improvement workshops
Supports and participates in engineering change
pilot and model change programs
Audit material records and analysis variance to act upon shortages and excess with relevant committees
Work closely with material flow team on equipment flow and layout optimization for safe and lean operations
Work closely with packaging engineer on packaging improvement initiatives to comply with safety standard and enhance quality and cost performance.
Ensure the effectiveness of the shop floor escalation tools especially NCRs
maintenance and facility WO
Comply with local and global procedures and Internal Controls requirements within the function
Conduct regular audits and ensure process compliance with local and global procedures

Participates on updating
and full compliance for the Plan for Every Part.

**Job Description** **Work Arrangement:** This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time. **The Role:** As a member of the Supply Chain team, in your role as **Material Handling Engineer,** you will be responsible for leading and organizing the operations team responsible for receiving, put away, unboxing, and distribution of material to safely achieve the daily production rates within the target cost, drive continuous improvement, and act against performance deviation through Global Manufacturing System and Lean Material Strategy tools. **What You 'll Do:** * Ensure full compliance with GM safety and environmental standards, conduct regular tour and assessments. * Ensure the engagement of operators in the achievement of the Business Plan Deployment targets in safety, people, quality, responsiveness, cost, and environment, according to a standardized processes using GMS tools * Review area score card, participate and/or lead the daily operations meetings to track key business results, manage changes and act on deviations * Maintains constant contact with production floor operations to support their needs * Participate in Continuous Improvement workshops * Supports and participates in engineering change, prototype, pilot and model change programs * Audit material records and analysis variance to act upon shortages and excess with relevant committees * Work closely with material flow team on equipment flow and layout optimization for safe and lean operations * Work closely with packaging engineer on packaging improvement initiatives to comply with safety standard and enhance quality and cost performance. * Ensure the effectiveness of the shop floor escalation tools especially NCRs, ESC, TPM, maintenance and facility WO, and LA action plan. * Comply with local and global procedures and Internal Controls requirements within the function * Conduct regular audits and ensure process compliance with local and glo
