Full Job Description

## Description Job Summary  The position of Material Handler Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the material handling specialists who provide control and assistance to the production department, by tracking parts through the repair processes, staging parts in departments, organizing part storage areas, monitoring completion time to increase throughput, and picking up & delivering parts to other buildings.   The position performs its primary functions in a climate-controlled and modern state-of-the-art facility.   Duties and Responsibilities  1. Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures for self and staff. 2. Monitor assigned work while reviewing completed jobs/projects to ensure adherence to work scope and company expectations. 3. Utilize computer software programs and applications in assigning, verifying, tracking, and monitoring metrics and job assignments. 4.   Motivate, coach, and counsel team members to achieve desired results. 5.   Manage personnel work hours, scheduled time off, shift schedules, and overtime. 6.   Participate in functions, such as performance reviews, employee development, accountability of team members, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action with the department manager. 7. Monitor and direct the tracking of parts (turbine engine components) through the repair processes, staging of parts in departments, organizing part storage areas, monitoring completion time to increase throughput. 8. Oversee and assist production, engineering, and production control personnel to maintain continuity in scheduling by reviewing inventory, anticipated work scope and needed location of components in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. 9. Monitor and ensure the electronic tracking system for part identification and location, (RFID tracking technology), is effective. 10. Ensure the timely development of priority lists for each department based on quantit
