What You'll Do.

including forklift and overhead crane usage
Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas to prevent delays
Monitor equipment availability and coordinate resources across shifts and departments
and evaluate the material handling team
and workload assignments to ensure full coverage
Conduct training on equipment operation
and standard work practices
Serve as the primary point of contact between material handling and other production supervisors
Maintain proactive communication to anticipate and resolve material flow issues
Provide regular updates on material movement status and challenges
Enforce safe operating procedures for forklifts
and all handling equipment
Monitor team adherence to OSHA and company safety standards
Lead team meeting around safety
participate in incident investigations
and administer corrective actions as required
Identify opportunities to improve material flow efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment
