Must Have

A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills, Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge, Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and any other material handling equipment, Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders, Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders, Intermediate math skills

Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre, Experience using Infor M3, Word, Excel, and Outlook

What You'll Do.

and ship customer orders

and put away incoming vendor material

Count and verify customer returns

Follow all Health and Safety rules and legislation

Load and unload trucks

Operate forklift and other material handling equipment

Verify material received against packing slip

Note discrepancies or damaged material

Print and verify computer receiving documents

Enter material received into computer system

Identify special order material and damaged material

Store material in proper location

Note shipping discrepancies on Bill of Lading

Initiate freight claims

Forward paperwork to appropriate teammate

Pick material for customer orders

Count and compare items to shipping documentation

Assemble material and pack appropriately

Complete documentation for third-party carrier shipments

Complete documentation for Transportation of Dangerous Goods

Inform Supervisor of inventory discrepancies

Inform Supervisor of damaged/defective material

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety

Inform Supervisor of safety issues

Assist teammates in servicing customers at the counter

Perform other tasks as requested
