Drive improvement projects for suppliers
Develop acceptance criteria for materials
Develop acceptance criteria for components
Provide technical support for supplier change requests
Provide technical support for supplier queries
Provide technical support for PPV opportunities
Ensure continuity of supply
Support new supplier development
Support component development
Provide technical support for cost reduction
Provide technical support for continuous improvement
Provide engineering oversight to suppliers
Support suppliers on process validations
Support suppliers on design for manufacture
Support suppliers on material selection
Support suppliers on process development
Identify parts requiring supplier development
Prioritize parts requiring supplier development
Optimize design drawings with suppliers
Optimize supplier manufacturing processes
Review technical design risk assessments
Incorporate risk assessments into evaluation
Lead technical aspects of problem solving
Lead technical aspects of failure analysis
Lead technical aspects of corrective actions
Lead technical aspects of preventative actions
Promote structured problem solving with suppliers
Monitor supplier engineering projects
Control supplier engineering projects
Assist in developing CFMEA
File completed CFMEA documents
Assist suppliers in developing final test requirements
Evaluate parts with Incoming Quality Control
Resolve issues with Incoming Quality Control
Support component lifecycle setup
Support component lifecycle deactivation
Query suppliers for component risks
Identify risks from evolving regulations
Escalate supplier manufacturing issues
Escalate supplier compliance issues
Provide technical support in failure analysis
