The task of the LET is to develop, enhance and prove technologies for future space missions and to support all future programmes, in general. During the last years, the LET builds up deep heritage and knowledge, in the field of laser metrology and Electric Propulsion (EP). In order to enhance the in-house EP development of the Advanced Cusp Field Thruster, the LET hosts facilities to characterize electric thrusters and components required for several EP related development projects.
