Analysis of available algorithms to assign positions in formation and structures to set up the problem
Problem setup (Aircraft models of different fidelities

Cost function for trajectory optimization and formation flight problem)
Implementation of algorithm functionalities including consideration of code generation capability
Testing of different scenarios (Two and more aircraft in planar scenario
Two and more aircraft in 3D motion
Connection of trajectories between multiple waypoints
Uncertainties influencing the trajectories)
Visualization in available environment
Documentation and presentation of results
