**Job Summary:** Perform skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled plumbing repairs and installations. Plan, inspect, record and oversee plumbing concerns. Evaluate systems, research solutions and order repair parts and supplies. Serve as team leader and train others in proper work methods and procedures. **Essential Functions:** * 50-80% Perform all essential functions of a Plumber. Perform skilled plumbing and repair of backflow preventers, water mains, fire systems, acid waste lines, glass drain lines, sewage injector pumps, sump pumps, air lines and gas lines. * 0-10% Plan, inspect and maintain backflow preventers throughout campus and plumbing systems. Check and inspect all dry valves and fire systems. * 0-10% Complete work orders and coordinate work with other trades, University departments and/or contractors when necessary. * 0-10% Complete work, time and material usage reports. Perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent/Supervisor. # # **Additional Position Information:** **Education:** Requires high school diploma or GED. **Licenses/Certifications:** Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
