Associate degree or Certification in the technical or electrical field or equivalent work experience required, 2+ years’ experience working in electronics, electrical and environmental testing required, Knowledge of DC and AC circuitry, electronics assembly, and troubleshooting, Good mechanical skills and hands-on aptitude, Proficiency in data acquisition (DAQ) and Excel data reporting, Understanding of electronic test equipment, power supplies, and oscilloscopes, Ability to work independently to determine methods and procedures of new assignments, Ability to validate data and troubleshoot accordingly, Detail-oriented, with good record-keeping skills, Skilled in Microsoft Office and preparing reports, Flexible in a dynamic product development environment, Ability to complete complex tasks in creative and effective ways
Nice to Have
Battery and Charger testing experience preferred, Familiarity with PCB design, layout, and preparation for testing
What You'll Do.
Assist other technicians and engineers with test preparation and troubleshooting
Prepare battery cells and packs for testing such as welding
Perform battery cell and pack abuse
and cycle life testing
on a variety of equipment and software
Assemble and repair test fixtures and set-ups
Perform equipment maintenance
and recycling of cells and packs
Maintain supplies and cell storage
