define the governance structure; set priorities for MDM initiatives; ensure that data ownership, decision-making rights, and processes are clearly established; build a central MDM Center of Competence (CoC); establish standards; ensure the internal development of expertise; design the Master Data Operating Model (MDOM); design end-to-end, cross-domain master data processes; define and monitor MDM metrics (KPIs); drive continuous improvement processes; optimally translate strategic guidelines into technical solutions; actively promote a cultural shift toward active data ownership

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
at least 7 years of profound professional experience in the field of MDM, data governance, or data-driven transformation projects, proven leadership competence in cross-departmental projects, experience in building MDM governance structures in medium-sized companies, understand end-to-end master data processes (especially Product, Customer, Supplier, and Finance) down to the smallest detail, sound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA within the master data context, familiar with systems such as ERP, PIM (e. g. , Akeneo), CRM, WMS, or PLM (e. g. , Centric), practical know-how regarding data models and system integrations, structured, analytical, and strategic mindset, documentation quality suitable for top-management level, communication and moderation skills, fluent in both German and English
