5+ years B2B/B2G marketing & communications, 2+ years in defence, aerospace, GovTech, deep-tech or scale-up environments in Portugal, Written voice in Portuguese, Comfortable ghost-writing for executives, Hands-on experience running press events, Hands-on experience running owned media, Hands-on experience running PR-agency relationships, Comfortable with classification-aware communication, Excellent project management instincts, Budget discipline
Nice to Have
Network among Portuguese defence, space, R&D and policy media, Experience with Portuguese Space Agency, Experience with Atlantic Constellation programme, Experience with ESA BIC Tagus+, Experience with IAPMEI, Experience with Portuguese space/defence primes, Working level of Spanish, Familiarity with marketing tools, Familiarity with basic creative production

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS: - Marketing & Communications Specialist (Mid-Senior) - Location: Lisbon, Portugal - Department: Marketing & Communications - Reports to: CMO - Employment type: Permanent - Workplace model: Hybrid - Lisbon office - Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required) WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS: As Marketing & Comms Specialist for ICEYE Portugal, you’ll own the regional voice of ICEYE - telling our story to the Portuguese defence, space and policy ecosystem, supporting the Portuguese Air Force programme launch, and building the ICEYE brand from a standing start in Lisbon.
