Full Job Description

At ArenaNet, we’ve always believed that games are art. They have the power to communicate ideas and tell stories. They can change the way we think, reflect our cultures, and move us. As the developer of the award-winning Guild Wars game series, we’re proud to share our passion for the online worlds we’ve created with over 21 million players worldwide. ArenaNet develops and publishes games for every kind of person, which means our games need to be built by every kind of person. We believe the best experiences come from working together, celebrating differences, and helping each of our team members shine. The publishing team is looking for a Contract Marketing Analyst for 12 months to help transform large volumes of marketing and player data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. The team has access to a wide range of internal and external data sources - including website traffic, streaming metrics, newsletter engagement, campaign attribution, and player behavior data - but much of this information is unorganized and not being used to make informed decisions. This role will focus on organizing, analyzing, and translating that data into clear reporting and recommendations that support weekly and monthly OKRs. Documentation for how new reports are generated will be important as well as identifying which steps can be automated for the future. A key area for this role will be ownership of our Gamesight attribution platform. This includes investigating and documenting existing data pipelines, partnering with Gamesight to optimize the platform for ArenaNet’s needs, and ultimately combining Gamesight data with sources such as Level Up and Google Analytics to deliver comprehensive reporting and insights. We’re looking for someone who understands video game marketing, is naturally curious about player behavior, and enjoys solving complex data challenges while helping improve publishing strategy and processes.
