What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Emergency Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Homeland Security, Transportation, Criminal Justice, or related field, 3+ years of relevant experience in maritime operations, LNG or energy infrastructure, emergency management, regulatory compliance, marine transportation, operational risk analysis, or consulting environments, Experience with USCG maritime safety and security regulations, including 33 CFR Parts 105 and 127, Experience with FERC and PHMSA regulatory environments, Experience with LNG marine transportation operations, terminal infrastructure, SIMOPS evaluations, and marine operational risk analysis, Experience with emergency response planning, incident management principles, and maritime security/risk assessment methodologies, Experience with GIS platforms, Experience with technical writing, Experience with data analysis tools, Experience with development of technical/regulatory deliverables, Technical writing skills, Communication skills, Organizational skills, Ability to synthesize complex technical and regulatory information into concise deliverables, Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment, Analytical capabilities, Problem-solving capabilities
Nice to Have
Prior military, Coast Guard, port operations, terminal operations, or marine transportation experience, Professional communication skills with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders, Seller-Doer mentality
What You'll Do.
Support maritime safety and regulatory projects
Develop Waterway Suitability Assessments
Participate in maritime risk assessments
Conduct regulatory research and analysis
Assist in development of security and response plans
Prepare technical reports and client deliverables
Support emergency planning and risk evaluations
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders
Track project schedules and deliverables
Support data analysis activities
Conduct research related to maritime operations
Collect and analyze technical data
Assist with development of hazard registers
Support proposal preparation and business development
How You'll Work.

Coordinate with clients, engineering teams, pilots, emergency responders, terminal operators, and regulatory agencies; Support stakeholder meetings and workshops; Work with project stakeholders
