Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Emergency Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Homeland Security, Transportation, Criminal Justice, or related field, 3+ years of relevant experience in maritime operations, LNG or energy infrastructure, emergency management, regulatory compliance, marine transportation, operational risk analysis, or consulting environments, Experience with USCG maritime safety and security regulations, including 33 CFR Parts 105 and 127, Experience with FERC and PHMSA regulatory environments, Experience with LNG marine transportation operations, terminal infrastructure, SIMOPS evaluations, and marine operational risk analysis, Experience with emergency response planning, incident management principles, and maritime security/risk assessment methodologies, Experience with GIS platforms, Experience with technical writing, Experience with data analysis tools, Experience with development of technical/regulatory deliverables, Technical writing skills, Communication skills, Organizational skills, Ability to synthesize complex technical and regulatory information into concise deliverables, Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment, Analytical capabilities, Problem-solving capabilities
Nice to Have

Support maritime safety and regulatory projects

About The Job AcuTech Consulting Group is seeking a Maritime Development & Regulatory Consultant to support maritime safety, security, emergency management, and regulatory compliance projects associated with LNG facilities, marine terminals, port infrastructure, and energy transportation systems. This role will support a variety of consulting projects involving the U. S. Coast Guard (USCG), FERC, PHMSA, terminal operators, engineering firms, and other maritime stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing, analytical, and project coordination skills, along with an interest in complex maritime and energy infrastructure projects. This position is well-suited for candidates with experience in maritime operations, emergency management, LNG or terminal operations, regulatory compliance, marine transportation, or operational risk analysis. What You’ll Do: Maritime Safety & Regulatory Support Support development of Waterway Suitability Assessments (WSAs) under 33 CFR Part 127. Participate in maritime risk assessments, navigation safety evaluations, and SIMOPS evaluations associated with LNG, crude oil, and marine cargo operations.
