What You'll Do.
overseeing vessel loading and unloading operations
managing the handling of our clients' cargo
lead initiatives focused on health and safety
lead initiatives focused on operational excellence
lead initiatives focused on customer service quality
lead initiatives focused on environmental stewardship
lead initiatives focused on employee engagement
Plan and allocate lifting equipment
and heavy machinery resources
Manage a team of longshoreman
ranging in size from a small crew to approximately 20 employees
Coordinate the execution of the work in order to meet the agreed timelines
Oversee safe work practices and enforce environmental and operational standards
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in work methods
optimizing the use of equipment and labor
Ensure client satisfaction by keeping stakeholders well-informed
