What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Seagoing background with shore-side marine experience or similar understanding of maritime rules, regulations, ISM Code and ISPS requirements, Knowledge of certification standards, document control and Manila amendments, Operationally credible and comfortable making decisions under pressure, Commercially aware with the ability to support local contract delivery administrative discipline and systems capability, Minimum 5 GCSE’s including Maths & English, Full UK driving licence
What You'll Do.
Support day-to-day marine operations to ensure vessels
equipment and personnel meet operational and safety requirements
Drive operational efficiency in line with company operating standards
Safety and Environment
Provide regulatory oversight
ensuring marine crew certification and training meet national and company requirements
Coordinate training and development of deck personnel
Work with Technical Engineering teams on vessel transfers and crew familiarisation
Maintain accurate crew records
Process operational invoices and support commercial activities as required
Deputise for the Port Manager when require
