Full Job Description
**What you will do** The Marine Service Engineer – Fire & Security Systems is instrumental in executing service, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning activities for fire and security systems across various projects and service contracts. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role combines technical expertise with customer interaction to ensure system reliability, safety compliance, and exceptional satisfaction. **How will you do** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of systems such as Fire Alarms, CCTV, PAGA, Access Control, and Gas Detection. * Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and integrations for both new and retrofit projects. * Diagnose and resolve complex issues in control systems and associated devices. * Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operational activities and maintain detailed documentation of service activities. * Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless project execution. * Provide technical advice and recommend system improvements to customers, acting as a reliable point of contact on-site. **What we look for** **Required:** * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields. * 6–8 years of experience with Fire & Security systems in marine, offshore, or industrial settings. * Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities with expertise in Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, PAGA, and Gas Detection Systems. * Proficiency in reading technical schematics and familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems. **Preferred:** * Certifications in Fire & Gas Systems or OEM training. * Experience with hazardous area systems and networking-related systems.
