What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of two (2) years of combined experience working in a manufacturing or production environment in a private, public, government or military setting., High School diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of four (4) years of combined experience working in a manufacturing or production environment in a private, public, government or military setting.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution., Previous supervisory experience., Experience in one or more of the following: project leadership, team leadership, supervisory, and/or management., Self-directed and detail oriented., Good interpersonal, communication, prioritization, organizational skills, and computer skills., Create, lead and work in a team atmosphere., Communicate written and verbally clearly and concisely and influence changes with operators as well as other plant employees and management team members., Identification and resolution of process issues., Use of continuous improvement methodologies (e. g. Lean Six Sigma) to provide impact through cost reduction programs, quality improvements, and safety of work environments.

What You'll Do.

Guide activities and personnel for safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste.

Cultivate and lead a team by encouraging cross training

flexibility and teamwork.

Schedule work priorities consistent with engineering directives.

Coordinate maintenance activities and allocate work assignments.

Monitor workflow and communicate expectations.

Provide coaching and feedback to employees.

Utilize corrective action to resolve conflict and inappropriate behaviors.

Train employees on operations and processes.

Ensure a safe work environment by reviewing production processes and OSHA requirements.

Recognize and resolve safety-related problems.

Ensure employees receive specified training and maintain certification.

Provide effective communication to employees through crew meetings

Complete housekeeping audits and job safety analysis.

Monitor and remediate process equipment downtime.

Analyze and interpret statistical data and charts to identify trends.

Communicate and follow-up on safety

Generate work requests and enter incident reports.

Implement advanced working knowledge and interpretation of corporate and site policies.

Ensure shift administrative activities are properly implemented and documented.

Participate in assigned team functions and projects.

Participate in site Emergency E-squad activities.
