What They're Looking For.
Must Have
University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, Operations related Management roles experience, Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes experience, Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills experience
Nice to Have
SAP knowledge, Lean Manufacturing experience, Leading cross-functional teams experience, Direct working experience of the Troy W&B Site / Products, Aerospace work environment experience, Automotive production system experience
What You'll Do.
Create week-by-week schedule
Assign operators accordingly
Improve processes within the cell
Eliminate rework/scrap
Work with 1st and 3rd shift supervisors
Establish recovery plans
Consolidate cell results
Ensure robust root cause and corrective actions
Ensure celebrations of wins
Execute Macro Plan activities
Support 4x annual Lean Leadership Weeks
and counsel hourly associates
Ensure cell supports Continuous Improvement strategies
Direct activities of operators
Create a culture of ownership
Partner with CORE / CI
Support the transformation roadmap
Create/align cells through product/process family alignment
Implement JIT/JIS Materials Management philosophy
Ensure cell implements and operates to 6 principles
Adhere to Standard Work
Use Closed Loop Systems for all losses
Lead special projects
