**Job Title:** Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern **Job Description:** **Job Title: ****Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern** **Job Summary** This internship provides hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing plant producing functional materials in specialty chemical industry. The intern will support process engineering activities related to safety, manufacturing process control, quality management, and continuous improvement. This role offers practical exposure to industrial chemical processes and high-volume manufacturing environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Support Operation team for daily manufacturing operations, including material preparation, mixing, process adjustment, and filtration. * Collect, organize, and analyze process data and R&D samples. * Assist in process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives. * Support root-cause analysis for process deviations, defects, or operational issues (e.g., 5-Why, fishbone analysis). * Assist with quality control testing and evaluation according to defined specifications at QC lab. * Follow and promote EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and quality standards within the plant. * Support the preparation, review, and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and R&D. **Requisite Criteria & Skills** * Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Strong interest in chemical manufacturing processes and plant operations. * Basic data organization and analysis skills (e.g., Excel). * High level of safety awareness and ability to follow established procedures. **Preferred** * Knowledge of chemical processing or materials manufacturing. * Experience with laboratory work, pilot-scale testing, or manufacturing environments.
