Manufacturing Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Manufacturing Manager****(Level K)** to join our dynamic team in **El Segundo, California**. **Position Responsibilities:** * Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines * Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies * Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements * Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports * Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes * Manages, develops and motivates employees **Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:** To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.** **Shift:** This position is for 1st shift. **This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.****(An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership” * More than 1 year of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment. * More than 1 year of experience in lean processes and initiatives. * More than 1 year of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures. **Preferred Qua
