What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline with 5+ years’ experience OR Master's degree in Engineering Discipline with 3+ years' experience, OR PhD OR In lieu of 9+ years of manufacturing experience, US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Nice to Have
Good understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to their business, General awareness of Manufacturing Systems (CAD, CAM, CAPP, Manufacturing Execution System, Manufacturing Intelligence, SAP, Technical Publications, etc. ) relevant to the business, Has experienced manufacturing change in a suitable combination of ways, such as facility re-design, facility move, technology insertion, new product introduction, process revalidation, quality improvement, Experience in control of fixed and special processes, Experience with analysis of data and use of analytical tools, such as: Minitab, JMP, Knowledge of Manufacturing Systems (CAD, CAM, CAPP, Manufacturing Intelligence, SAP, Technical Publications, etc. )
What You'll Do.
Act as a technical lead for a team of Manufacturing Engineers
Integrate Manufacturing Engineering activities across the product lifecycle
and test new strategies to optimize productivity
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with Health
Safety & Environmental Standards
Mitigate product safety risks and promote a product safety culture
and resolve safety-related issues
Promote a culture of zero defects and Right First Time manufacture
Ensure compliance to company
and technical policies and standards
Promote a culture of zero waste and achieve highest quality at lowest cost
Govern the achievement of Manufacturing Engineering deliverables

Support the creation of Man Eng load/capacity plans and budgets
Ensure application of manufacturing process controls
Act as FAIR signatory

## **Job Description** **Job Title:****Manufacturing Engineer – Technical Lead** **Working Pattern: Fulltime** **Working location: Indianapolis, IN** A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Manufacturing Engineer - Technical Lead. Act as a technical lead for a team of Manufacturing Engineers supporting the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The Technical Lead will integrate all Manufacturing Engineering activities within their area of responsibility across the product lifecycle to meet business and customer requirements for Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in tandem with our manufacturing team directly on the shop floor devising, implementing and testing new strategies to help optimize productivity.
