enhance operational capacities; improve readiness of our defense systems; operationalize additive manufacturing in the submarine industrial base; provide emergent request support to sustain our Nation’s fleet; meet deliverables of customer; Maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel
Industry & Context.
Support resolution of engineering, material, process and planning issues; identify applicable MIL-STD or other technical specifications; assess technical feasibility of the project; identify additional resources which may be needed to fulfill requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance may be required, 18 years or older at time of application, Able to provide proof of US Person status, No felony convictions of theft/deception or violent crimes within seven years from disposition date, No felony convictions of drug crimes within three years from disposition date, Willing to submit to a drug screen, Willing to submit to a background check, ability to bend, squat, climb ladders, occasionally lift and carry 40 Ibs, Ability to respond to verbal and audible sounds/commands, Ability to utilize adequate visual skills, Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement tools
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Minimum five years’ experience in Manufacturing, Demonstrated knowledge reading of prints, technical documentation and customer requirements, Experience in identifying and anticipating design/production work sequence conflicts required, CAD

What You'll Do.

generate and review project technical requirements and documentation

determine the relevance of existing
standard requirements
monitor assigned tasks and their deliverables
oversee and direct the technical work of assigned personnel
support resolution of engineering
process and planning issues
support implementation of improved engineering processes
gather and analyze shop performance metrics
develop and maintain performance throughput metrics
assist in the identification and implementation of improvements to processes
maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel
support department improvement initiatives
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
convey understanding to Production Team members; Provide the coordination between resource managers/supervisors; ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received; encourage positive communication and flexibility within the team; Liaises with All departments as required including, but not limited to Operations, Production, Quality, Programs and Engineering; Liaises with Government personnel
Communication Scope
Excellent written and oral communication skills required; Prepares complex written and/or graphic materials to convey information to internal and external customers
Process & Methodology
