Demonstrated practical manufacturing experience, Knowledge of CNC metal cutting equipment and processes, knowledge of troubleshooting manufacturing processes, knowledge of problem-solving/analysis skills, Knowledge of fixture & gage design and use, Knowledge of GD&T principles, Knowledge of capability studies, gage R&R, PFEMA, Kaizen, communication proficiency, organized, detailed, Must be able to successfully pass a drug and background screen
Nice to Have
BS in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or engineering technology, CAD experience, CNC programming experience
What You'll Do.
Manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments
Develop robust machining and assembly processes
Implement production quality systems and gauging methods
Continuously improve processes to reduce cost
find root cause of issues and implement robust corrective actions
Coordinate with tooling and equipment sources
Drive standardization throughout the plant
Support companies LEAN manufacturing initiatives
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
work collaboratively with leadership, operations, employees, and other functional areas; Provide mentorship within the Ruger production environment to junior engineers as well as production associates
