5+ years of experience in a similar role, Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing (2:1 or above preferred), Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, Hands-on approach to solving complex engineering/manufacturing problems, Proven experience as a LEAN practitioner, Full Six Sigma toolset, Ability to gather, interpret, and present data, Effective at managing your own workload, Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams, Communication and presentation skills, Ability to engage and influence stakeholders
Nice to Have
UK driving licence, Experience in high-tech manufacturing or assembly, MES systems experience, SAP/ERP experience, PLM/ECN experience, CAD/PCB design experience, Knowledge of manufacturing transfer, Knowledge of modern manufacturing vision

In this role, you'll be at the heart of improving and evolving our precision manufacturing processes. If you take pride in enhancing production systems, increasing efficiency, and ensuring quality at every step, this is your opportunity to play a key part in our growth story. **What you will bring to the role:** * Management of multiple manufacturing related projects and investigations of varying length and complexity. * Resolve engineering challenges to production targets using structured problem-solving tools like A3PS, 8D and DMAIC. * Maintain and control manufacturing processes using lean tools including Standard Operating Procedures, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Control Plans, Value Stream Maps, Kanban, and Process Failure Mode Effect Analyses (PFMEAs). * Drive, validate and implement changes to product design with a focus on quality and manufacturability, to make sure that both new and existing products can be made, assembled, and tested to the right specifications. * Improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in your technology through targeted projects and communicate project progress to key stakeholders in production and the wider business. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business to improve safety, quality and delivery of our market leading products. * Support other operational teams to ensure that we can get the parts we need to make our products to the standard
