What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience with soft goods / flexible structures, 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, skills in 3D modeling and CAD tools, Experience with programming languages, Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, Demonstrated experience owning hands-on, end-to-end hardware development efforts
Nice to Have
Background in high-altitude or atmospheric systems, Familiarity with textile engineering, coatings, or permeability/diffusion modeling, Experience designing for extreme environments, Knowledge of seaming, bonding, and joining techniques, Experience modeling or testing membrane structures under load, Familiarity with coatings and barrier layers
