Must Have
2+ years hardware design, Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, Experience developing functional specifications, Experience developing design verification plans, Experience developing functional test procedures, Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics/Optical Sciences or related field or equivalent work experience, Demonstrated experience with Opto-mechanical systems, Familiarity with Low-Rate Manufacturing Environments, Familiarity with New Product Introduction, Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices, Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Experience with Root Cause Analysis Techniques
Nice to Have
Knowledge of engineering practices for full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, Experience with hardware/software integration, Experience with real-time systems, Experience working with interdisciplinary teams, Experience with project management of technical projects, Experience with SAP or similar ERP software, Experience with NX Unigraphics or similar CAD software, Experience with Industrial Analysis, Experience with Motion Studies, Experience with Statistical Analysis Software, Experience with Minitab, Exceptional analytical skills, Exceptional communication skills, Exceptional writing skills

Conceptualize production processes
Design production processes
