Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly and Installation (Experienced or Senior Level) **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an **Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Engineer** to lead critical regulatory and compliance support. You will join our Audit & Compliance team. This team supports BCA Production Engineering groups across the Puget Sound region. We are looking for a collaborative professional who can leverage deep manufacturing and production engineering process knowledge to execute complex compliance assignments independently. **Key Responsibilities** * **Audit & Mitigation:** Investigate and respond to compliance audit findings. Mitigate issues using Bow Tie Analysis, Boeing Problem Solving Models (BPSM), and Safety Risk Management (SRM) protocols. * **Root Cause & Safety:** Participate in Safety Lessons Learned and BPSMs. Execute mitigations tailored to Manufacturing Engineering (ME) root causes using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA). * **Investigation Leadership:** Serve as Report Manager or Lead Analyst for "Speak Up" submissions. Conduct technical fact-finding, develop mitigation plans, and drive resolutions through the Safety Management System (SMS). * **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Engage regularly with mechanics, electricians, suppliers, and Program Integrated Product Teams (IPT) across multiple programs to implement permanent corrective actions. * **Process Improvement:** Apply technical expertise to enhance assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, and production methodologies. * **Data Analysis & Troubleshooting:** Collect and analyze production data. Troubleshoot active technical problems across multiple programs to preserve product integrity, reduce costs, and maintain delivery schedules. This is a Production Engineering role requiring direct interface with people, parts, and equipment on the production floor.
