What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems, U. S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U. S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Nice to Have
Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, 2+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience, Knowledge of schematic design and debug skills
What You'll Do.
Lead technicians through satellite integration operations
Support other final assembly areas
Implement test requirements
Design and establish payload processing facility satellite integration
Support facility and equipment planning
Implement process controls
Support continuous improvement
Plan workstation layouts for satellite integration
Implement manufacturing processes for satellite integration
Integrate satellites onto dispensers
Perform automated testing of satellites using various EGSE
Continuously improve satellite integration and test processes
Interface with facilities personnel
Evaluate and improve takt time
Author and implement work instructions
Implement standard processes
Implement corrective actions
Lead team through satellite to dispenser mating operations
Address root cause of failures and issues
Implement production control strategies
Implement optimization strategies
Implement engineering best practices
Implement efficiency improvements
Reduce non-conformances
