Salary Range: $38,000 - $42,000 Position Summary Assembles automotive quick connectors using manual, semi-automated and fully automated processes by performing the following duties: Essential Functions * Assembles O-rings, clips, shipping plugs & caps into parts according to part procedure * Understands the machine and its functions and operate according to the procedure, following all safety procedures * Reads and understands job procedure * Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, as well as company policies * Conducts leak testing as required by part procedure * Conducts in-process parts inspection to ensure product quality and completeness * As designated, trains manufacturing associates in procedures and processes * Ensures daily production schedule is attained * Knowledge of Leading2Lean * Knowledge of SAP * Maintains a clean and organized work area, in compliance with 5S requirements * Performs and understands importance of processes in place to ensure machine is running accurately (such as running duds and/or use of gauges) * Keeps machines running with minimal downtime * Performs basic repair and setup ## Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers and handheld scanners, as well as excellent attention to detail Education /Experience * High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 6-12 months
