These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​ We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. **Job Description** ​Teledyne Micropac is seeking an experienced assembler and machine operator who has the ability to perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. **What you’ll do** The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to: Training will occur on First Shift; upon successful completion of training, new hire will be expected to move to Second Shift position: 2:30pm to 11:00pm, OT and Saturdays when needed. 6% shift premium is offered for second shift upon successful completion of training. * Follow production drawings, procedures and work instructions in detail, understands and applies established workmanship practices for all facets of satellites, medical, defense/aerospace and high reliability industrial application * Operate Auto and Manual Bonding equipment to perform thermosonic gold wire and aluminum wire bonding. * Ensure that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing processes. * Strong problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates, quality control and process engineers to ensure product meets strict specifications. * Attentiveness to details and adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols are essential. * Assist with training as required. * Perform Bond Pull, Die Shear and Sheer Strength
