Advanced degree(s) and applicable professional certification(s) are preferred (CFA, CIRA, CPA)

We are experts known for leading challenging processes and bringing together disparate stakeholder groups. **Role Overview:** The Turnaround & Restructuring (T&R) Managing Director role is an experienced senior level position that leads and manages client engagement team(s) through challenging in-and-out of court turnaround and restructuring situations. **Responsibilities:** * Leads the final delivery of analyses developed on engagement(s) * Leads and provides guidance on complex analyses and restructuring alternatives pertinent to the situation at hand * Has a view on various restructuring concepts informed by prior experience and expertise * Understands complex issues with credit agreements and can structure provision and terms to best protect the client * Negotiate waivers, forbearances, amendments and terms to credit agreements * Effectively manages entire project work plan for engagement(s) * Manages the development and presentation of final client deliverables * Determines effective approach / content level based on previous experiences in similar situations * Leads presentations and large meetings with senior clients, other professionals and parties in interest * Maintains day to day relationships between Ankura team and senior client executives * Oversees the quality of engagement(s) and the development of staff **Requirements:** * Minimum 10 years of relevant restructuring / distressed experience in a professional service or consulting firm environment * Prior hands-on experience building / developing / overseeing integrated 3-statement financial and 13-week cash flow mode
