What You'll Do.
Manage day-to-day administrative operations
Ensure smooth delivery of unit activities
Ensure faculty and staff are supported
Partner with Unit Heads and faculty
Advise faculty on support staff utilization
Support faculty through career milestones
Maintain relationships with faculty and staff
Supervise Faculty Support Specialists
Supervise Unit Coordinators
Conduct regular check-ins
Provide coaching to staff
Complete annual performance evaluations
Support performance management processes
Monitor workloads and assignments
Ensure equitable distribution of work
Resolve service issues
Support recruitment efforts
Oversee onboarding of new staff
Deliver and coordinate training
Gather feedback on training
Refine onboarding materials
Identify staff skill gaps
Recommend training opportunities
Collaborate on employee relations
Manage workforce processes
Ensure adherence to policies
Monitor staff overtime
Coordinate coverage during absences
Maintain accurate records
Identify operational inefficiencies
Recommend process improvements
Support implementation of initiatives
Contribute to communication efforts
Update internal resources
Share information with staff
Engage directly with colleagues
Engage with constituents
Perform other duties as assigned
