RTX Corporation is a leading multinational aerospace and defense company that is looking for an Manager, Property Tax. The Corporate Tax Dept is responsible for managing all aspects of U.S. property tax compliance for multiple legal entities. **What You Will Do** * Prepare, review and approve property tax returns including Freeport Exemptions and Tax Abatements, business personal property valuations and property tax bills * Prepare, review property tax assessments, file appeals and defend tax filing positions at appeal hearings. * Review and approve property tax accrual account reconciliations (SAP) * Work with external consultants on business personal property compliance matters * Manage property tax process standardization and documentation * Develop and train personal property compliance staff * Travel to major RTX sites to meet with finance teams to facilitate onsite training of property taxability issues and reporting requirements * Analyze complex assessment reviews and communicate with jurisdictions and/or challenge assessments in a well-thought-out manner, both formally and informall
