What They're Looking For.

Must Have

University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Commerce, or related field required., Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management, preferably in a healthcare or public-sector environment., Knowledge of financial management principles related to procurement, including budgeting, controls, value realization, and cost optimization., Proven ability to provide strategic and operational leadership, exercising sound judgment in complex, matrixed environments., Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify risks, and drive improvements., Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leaders and diverse stakeholders., Demonstrated capability in change management, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Nice to Have

Professional designation such as SCMP, CPM, CPP, or equivalent is strongly preferred., Demonstrated experience working within or alongside Shared Service Organizations (SSOs) or outsourced procurement models is an asset., knowledge of public-sector and healthcare procurement frameworks, including the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Directive and contract governance requirements., Working understanding of contract lifecycle management, sourcing strategies, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation., Familiarity with healthcare clinical and operational environments and the procurement needs that support patient care delivery., stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and collaborate across clinical, operational, and corporate groups.
