Must Have
Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience in Subcontracts Management, Procurement, Program Management or Contracts Management, Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience in Subcontracts Management, Procurement, Program Management or Contracts, Demonstrated experience providing subcontracting process and compliance guidance, Subject matter expertise with FAR and DFARS provisions and GSC policies and procedures, Proven subcontract management experience for subcontracts in excess of $50 Million, Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a team, process, and/or projects, Aerospace and Defense experience
Nice to Have
Master's Degree in Business, Global Supply Chain or Project Management, Experience working on high dollar production and/or development Subcontracts with complex contract types, Experience managing a team of direct reports, Experience with contract terminations and closeouts, Experience conducting presentations to and collaborating with Senior Leadership, Internal Northrop Grumman Subcontracts experience, Knowledge of Earned Value Management System, CAM Experience or Training, Risk mitigation experience, Negotiating skills with contract in excess of $100 million
What You'll Do.
Lead team of ~10 Individual Contributors Subcontracts Administrators
Support Subcontracts Administrators through all phases of the
Negotiate and implement contract terms
Advise management of contractual rights and obligations
Perform independent research and analysis of complex risks
Coordinate with cross-functional teams on complex issues
Develop and present appropriate mitigation plans
Coordinate with Contracts team on proposed new or
Facilitate flow-down to Subcontracts Specialists
Identify and close knowledge gaps
Create and present training on areas such as
Manage performance of subcontracts
Ensure compliance with public law requirements
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Manage and develop strategic/key suppliers
Review and approve supplier payment
