Full Job Description

**[What the role is]** Manager, Standard & Curriculum, Singapore Rail Academy (SGRA) The role of Manager, Standard & Curriculum, is part of the new Singapore Rail Academy (SGRA) team established for the development, implementation and quality assurance of the training standards, competency and curricula frameworks for the operations & maintenance (O&M) workforce of the local rail industry, and the development of common training courses for rail systems engineers and those decided by the management. The Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the harmonisation, development and upkeep of training standards, competency and curricula frameworks, the development of common training courses, and quality assurance. He/she will work with rail operators SMRT and SBS Transit, LTA divisions and experts, to ensure the consistency between organisations, alignment with professional standards (e.g. Skills Framework for Public Transport (SFw-PT)), timely update to reflect the latest concept of operations (ConOps), in order to uplift the capabilities of the Singapore rail workforce. **[What you will be working on]** * Plan and work with rail operators and LTA divisions and experts to manage the harmonisation, development and upkeep of training standards, competency and curricula frameworks * Plan and work with rail operators, LTA divisions and partners, to develop common training courses, including the programme design, content development and periodic reviews * Plan for quality assurance and manage audits on curriculum, process and compliance * Explore the use of new pedagogy and technology for more effective learning * Plan and collaborate with institutes of higher learning for continued education and training (CET) courses * Benchmark against industry and international best practices * Foster and maintain good relationships with relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) (both locally and globally), keeping abreast of rail engineering standards and technologies, and sour
