What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, 7 years of progressively responsible experience managing complex software projects or programs, Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring software project managers and/or software engineers, Proven experience owning end-to-end project delivery, Experience supporting or contributing to business development efforts, Track record of identifying, assessing, and mitigating delivery risks and opportunities, working knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and hybrid approaches, Proficiency with project management and delivery tools, including Jira (required), Solid understanding of financial and commercial project management, Ability to translate technical concepts into clear project plans, timelines, and client-ready communications

What You'll Do.
Oversee software delivery portfolio
Provide senior-level operational oversight
Drive revenue and delivery performance
Accountable for portfolio health
Enable leadership decisions
Establish portfolio routines
Prioritize work based on capacity
Identify dependencies
and develop Software Project Managers
Balance operational ownership with team performance
high-quality outcomes
and monitor portfolio health metrics
Own portfolio-wide resource management
Provide senior oversight for complex projects
and escalate delivery risks
Serve as escalation point for project issues
Partner with Directors to support subcontracting
Review and guide project-level inputs for contracting
Collaborate with IS leadership
Monitor contracting-related risks
Communicate portfolio impacts
Set clear expectations for on-time delivery
Conduct performance reviews
Provide ongoing feedback
Support career development and growth planning
