What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, 7 years of progressively responsible experience managing complex software projects or programs, multi‑workstream or enterprise‑scale initiatives, Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring software project managers and/or software engineers, delegating work, monitoring performance, providing coaching and feedback, Proven experience owning end‑to‑end project delivery, scope, schedule, budget, quality, client satisfaction, Experience supporting or contributing to business development efforts, proposal development, project scoping, cost estimation, Track record of identifying, assessing, and mitigating delivery risks and opportunities across multiple concurrent projects, working knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), project delivery methodologies, Agile, Scrum, hybrid approaches, Proficiency with project management and delivery tools, Jira, Solid understanding of financial and commercial project management, budgeting, cost control, margin awareness, invoicing, Ability to translate technical concepts into clear project plans, timelines, and client‑ready communications

Establish portfolio routines

Balance operational ownership with team performance

Ensure delivery consistency

Establish and monitor portfolio health metrics

Manage portfolio-wide resources

Provide senior oversight for complex projects

Anticipate and escalate delivery risks

Serve as escalation point for project issues

Partner with Directors to support subcontracting

Review project-level inputs for contracting

Align contracts with portfolio priorities

Monitor contracting risks

Communicate portfolio impacts

Set clear expectations for delivery

Conduct performance reviews

Support career development

Foster an inclusive environment

Serve as primary IS point of contact

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate across product, engineering, finance, and contracting partners; Partner with Software Project Directors and Associate Directors; Collaborate with IS leadership, Finance, and business stakeholders; Communicate portfolio-level communication with executive, product, engineering, finance, and business stakeholders
