What They're Looking For.
Must Have
+7 years of experience, background in iOS and/or Android native mobile development, At least 1 year of experience managing mobile engineering teams, Hands-on experience with mobile development technologies, such as Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android, or Swift and SwiftUI for iOS, Proficiency in data structures, Proficiency in system design, Proficiency in design patterns, Proficiency in API design, familiarity in MVP or MVVM architectures, familiarity with declarative UI, familiarity with Git, familiarity with DevOps practices
Nice to Have
full-stack background is highly desirable, additional knowledge of cloud services, additional knowledge of GraphQL, additional knowledge of Firebase, other relevant technologies being a plus

Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies. ## About the Role: This role is within the Mobile Team, responsible for building next-generation mobile apps for premium Dow Jones brands. As a Manager in Software Engineering, you will lead and support a team of engineers, ensuring the efficiency and quality of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle. You will track team performance, adjust processes and timelines as needed, and provide regular feedback on career growth and progression. Your role will involve delegation, independent decision-making, and active involvement in technical discussions and project management.
