Must Have
Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience in History, Humanities, Museum Studies, or a related field, 3-5 years of experience in historical research, content development or experience design, Experience translating complex historical material into accessible content for non-specialist audiences, Experience designing facilitated or scenario-based learning experiences

Experience in a museum, heritage or education setting
What You'll Do.
Develop content and resources for education and public

At the FM, we are creating a brand-new garden-museum experience for Singaporeans, by Singaporeans. A national landmark at the heart of our garden city, uncovering the story of how independent Singapore came to be, and bringing Singaporeans across generations together to reflect and have bold conversations about what our founding values mean today and for our future. The FM is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Education and Interpretation team to develop content and design high-quality education experiences grounded in Singapore’s founding values and history. You will be part of the team that develops scenario-based immersive experience to encourage perspective taking and historical empathy – exciting and inspiring visitors of all ages at the Memorial! Look forward to being a part of creating a living Memorial that unites, challenges and inspires Singaporeans of all generations towards a brighter future! **[What you will be working on]** * **Content creation and curation: **You will develop content and resources for education and public initiatives (such as exhibitions), grounded in rigorous historical research. This includes conducting research on primary and secondary materials – including oral history interviews and archival records – pertaining to Singapore’s pre- and post-independence history; identifying ways to present the content accessibly to diverse audiences through multi-modal storytelling techniques; and writing the accompanying text.
