What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of advanced business development experience, account management capabilities with a deep understanding of the retail landscape, Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, influencing and networking skills, High business acumen in licensing and wholesale account management, Team player
Nice to Have
retail a plus, experience building and managing strategic retail relationships, Familiarity with retail math, good analytical, planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, willingness to take on additional responsibilities
What You'll Do.
Increase footprint of Authentic brands across retailers
Deliver top-line revenue through strategic execution
Manage accounts and understand retail principles
Leverage existing retail relationships
Establish new wholesale and DTR relationships
Gain in-depth understanding of licensee business models
Act as liaison between Authentic HQ
Forge working relationship with licensees
Research competitive landscape
Develop strategy to accelerate business growth
Prepare financial analyses for retail partners
Develop seasonal merchandising strategy
Ownership of the deal process
Track sales activity in CRM
Deliver sales and shipment numbers
Prepare sales forecasts
Understand retail P&L
Track sales allowances
Visit retail space to ensure product placement
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as liaison between Authentic HQ, licensees, and Retail merchant and leadership team; Forge a close working relationship with licensees; Work closely with legal counsel to draft licensing agreements
Communication Scope
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to adjust style to meet the audience's needs; presenting up to leadership
