Full Job Description
In this role, you will primarily underwrite long-only equity and fixed income strategies while also aiding in the underwriting of alternative managers (private equity, private credit, private real estate, venture) with a global remit but a special focus on the Middle East and Shariah/Sukuk strategies. You will have public markets investment manager underwriting experience and a demonstrated investment track record in these strategies. You are expected to research and generate recommendations that are in line with client portfolio requirements and can communicate views. You will also be a part of a team where working in a collaborative way with team members will be required. This position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will need to periodically travel and meet with existing or potential internal or external investment management teams. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct in-depth due diligence on investment managers across asset classes (equity and fixed income primarily), evaluating strategies, teams, performance, and risk controls. * Lead end-to-end manager selection for multi-manager portfolios: screen managers, underwrite mandates, present recommendations to clients/prospects, and ensure portfolio fit and fiduciary standards. * Oversee ongoing manager monitoring: maintain a watch list, track performance and risk, conduct reviews, prepare oversight reports, and flag issues. * Communicate manager strategy, performance, and outlook to stakeholders, and support client engagements such as RFP responses and meetings. * Focus on global manager research with an emphasis on MENA strategies initially: build local manager relationships, conduct on-site due diligence, and integrate regional insights globally. * Collaborate with Global Investment Risk, ODD, and Compliance teams for holistic manager reviews, mentor junior analysts, and refine research processes. * Innovate in the use of AI tools in manager due diligence and oversight functions * Interface/communicate with
