Ability to travel up to 25%, Physical Demands: Work may require heavy lifting up, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents., Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations., PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices., Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and company policies., Work Environment: Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job., Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise., May be required to drive service van to off-site locations and perform work., Exposure to climate conditions of the geographic area., Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, paints or other irritants., Hours may vary due to operational need.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience minimum 7 years of related fleet maintenance experience, 7+ years of experience in mechanical systems, fleet maintenance, and cost analysis, including 5+ years in leadership roles, Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and execute with precision, Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Nice to Have
10+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or trailer maintenance technician strongly preferred, Deep expertise in trailer systems: brakes, suspension, tires, lights, electrical, and hydraulics, understanding of DOT, OSHA, CARB, and related regulatory frameworks, Experience with maintenance support systems such as M5, TMT, Dossier, or similar platforms, Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
