What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, Health Information Management, Data Science, or a related field, Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, At least 2 years in an analytics or reporting leadership role, Experience in a dental DSO, group dental practice, or multi-site dental environment, Demonstrated experience with dental claims processing, CDT coding, dental benefits coordination, and payer reimbursement in a high-volume environment, Advanced proficiency in Tableau, SQL ability to write complex queries across large relational databases and data warehouses, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, PowerPoint proficiency for executive-level presentations, Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, Ability to work with large, complex, and disparate data sets, Ability to structure ambiguous business problems, High attention to detail, Commitment to data accuracy and integrity, Excellent written and verbal communication, Ability to manage multiple priorities, Ability to deliver against competing deadlines

Nice to Have

Master’s degree preferred, Broader healthcare (physician group, health system) experience considered, SQL Server or Google BigQuery preferred, Familiarity with dental practice management systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Dentrix Ascend, or similar), Familiarity with RCM platforms (Waystar, Navicure, athenahealth), Familiarity with healthcare data standards including CDT/CPT codes and EDI 837/835 electronic claim formats, Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis

What You'll Do.

Translate complex operational and financial data into visualizations

Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports

Partner with IT and data engineering teams

Establish and enforce data governance standards

Produce detailed AR aging reports

Conduct in-depth analysis of AR aging

Develop and maintain financial models

Analyze bad debt patterns

Support month-end and quarter-end financial close processes

Monitor contractual adjustments

Analyze denial trends

Analyze end-to-end claims processing workflows

Develop scorecards and performance metrics

Monitor charge capture

Track collections rates

Support ad hoc analyses

Manage and mentor a team of analysts

Serve as a trusted analytics partner

Collaborate cross-functionally

Stay current with dental industry trends

Provide light support to the FP&A team

Assist with ad hoc financial modeling
