Must Have
University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience, Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field (STEM), Experience with special processes (Welding, NDT, Heat Treatment, Chemical Processing, etc.), Experience with manufacturing, supplier quality, or process engineering., Experience working in a regulated industry (Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Medical)
Nice to Have
expertise in at least one special process with working knowledge of others, Experience with: Process auditing or Nadcap audits and special process qualification, Supplier development and on-site technical support, and Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation, Knowledge of: Aerospace process specifications (ASTM, MIL), and Quality systems (AS9100), Experience in: Control Plan & PFMEA, Data analysis and risk prioritization, CORE tool, Six Sigma, or statistical methods, Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence cross-functional teams

Perform data-driven analysis to identify high-risk suppliers and develop prioritization models based on process complexity and volume

Support development and optimization of special processes
review and interpret specifications

contribute to harmonization of specifications and best practices
Train Supplier Development Engineers and internal teams on special process requirements and best practices
