7+ years of experience in software quality, 2+ years in a leadership or management role, Proven experience building or transforming QA and automation teams in a modern SaaS environment, understanding of automation-first testing strategies, modern testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines, Experience testing API-driven, backend, and cloud-native systems, Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing, intelligent automation, or applying AI/ML tools to improve test coverage, defect detection, or quality analysis, A mindset that views AI as a force multiplier for quality teams, not a novelty or side experiment, Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, including shift-left testing and shared quality ownership, A technical foundation with the ability to collaborate deeply with engineers, architects, and platform teams, Experience driving quality improvements in complex, distributed systems, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without relying on authority, A data-driven, outcome-oriented mindset, focused on measurable improvements in reliability, speed, and customer experience, A clear bias toward raising the bar, addressing performance gaps directly, and building teams that continuously improve
