What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR Master's degree and 3 years experience, 5 years of experience leading performance of tasks, Basic competency in Project Management skills and toolsets, US Citizen, Capable of obtaining a Secret security clearance

Nice to Have

Degree in science, engineering, or business program, Experience in aerospace/defense industry or DoD or NASA, PMP® certification, Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, Active Security Clearance

What You'll Do.

Deliver contractual requirements on cost and schedule

Achieve all technical requirements

Create customer intimacy

Support value creation strategies

Provide overall leadership of programs

and technical performance

Participate in negotiation of contract changes

Coordinate proposal preparation

Establish milestones and monitor adherence

Identify program problems

Execute to meet financial objectives

Direct work of assigned employees

Lead all phases of program life cycle

and technical performance

Cultivate customer relationships

Develop and mentor Junior Program Managers

Develop new business opportunities

Establish program organization

Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams

Lead geographically distributed cross-functional IPTs

Measure and report program performance

Deliver presentations to customers

Participate in negotiation of contracts

Establish design concepts and criteria

and finalize program Statement of Work

and complete program requirements

Establish and manage program baselines

Develop and adhere to budget baselines

Utilize Earned Value Management

and manage program resources

Manage workforce planning

Manage suppliers to meet program objectives
