What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years’ experience in product development, expertise in Menswear Knits, knowledge of knitwear construction, materials, and sourcing, especially circular knitwear, technical knowledge of product construction, development processes, and manufacturing methods, Solid understanding of PLM systems and operational workflows, Proven leadership and influencing skills in a global, cross-functional environment, problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness, Can prioritize and manage workload effectively, balancing projects and deadlines simultaneously, Demonstrated capability to operate successfully in a fast-changing, high-paced environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and timelines, sense of ownership and accountability, able to drive deliverables through ambiguity and fast changes, Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, High attention to detail combined with a structured, solution-oriented mindset, analytical skills, with the ability to plan strategically in line with business needs and cost targets
Nice to Have
Experience within wholesale and/or vertical retail product development preferred, experience working with Centric PLM, SAP, and CAD is a advantage
What You'll Do.
Leading the product development process from initial design concept through commercialization
and cost-effective development of products
and customer requirements
Partnering closely with Design
Production Operations
Delivering styles aligned with the design vision and business KPIs
Navigating complexity and driving cross-functional alignment
Ensuring on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment
Acting as a key liaison between Design
AMS Product Development teams
Ensuring product execution meets aesthetic
Supporting and strengthening cross-functional partnerships
Delivering product within targeted cost parameters and calendar milestones
and confirming factory costings
and managing cost logs
Owning proto and SRS ordering
Ensuring accurate creation
and updates of BOMs and product data in PLM
Managing the handover of samples prior to bulk production
Ensuring readiness and alignment across teams
Accountable for on-time and in-full delivery of all proto and development samples
Representing Product Development in cross-functional milestone meetings
and efficient decision-making
Tracking and managing approval status of AMS PD and proto samples
Overseeing sample management for cross-functional reviews and design meetings
Proactively identifying risks
and driving solutions
Supporting continuous improvement of product development processes
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Key liaison between Design, Raw Materials, Technical Design, AMS Product Development teams, vendors, and hub offices; Support and strengthen cross-functional partnerships; Collaborate with AMS Product Development; Represent Product Development in cross-functional milestone meetings; Oversee sample management for cross-functional reviews and design meetings
